THRIVE Teachers and Mentors of the Month

The THRIVE Teacher and Mentor of the Month is selected by the Office of Professional Learning and Talent Development based on nominations from their colleagues. Each receive a certificate and a $50 prize.

The visit included classroom visits and demonstrations by students, as well as an opportunity for questions about strategies being employed to increase reading achievement among our students.

SCCPSS and Curtis V. Cooper Primary Health Care Partner to Promote Literacy

At each annual well-child visit from birth to age 4, parents and guardians will receive a bag containing a bilingual book appropriate to their child's developmental stage as well as literacy tips and ideas for at-home learning activities.
