Savannah Arts student, Catherine Hawkins, has been invited to attend the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Georgia Chapter’s Annual Awards Celebration.
Catherine is being honored by the Georgia Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for her advocacy efforts for cystic fibrosis, and is receiving the Jr. Outstanding CF Advocate award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!
Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening, genetic condition that affects about nine hundred people in the state of Georgia and nearly 40,000 in the United States.
This prestigious award recognizes Catherine's exceptional efforts in advocating for the cystic fibrosis community, particularly through her interactions with local government representatives.
Last summer, Catherine was chosen by the CF Foundation to represent the State of Georgia in Washington, DC, where she spoke with members of Congress from Georgia and South Carolina about the PASTUER Act.
Catherine, we are very proud of your accomplishments!
Keep up the good work!
