School Council is designed to bring the community and school closer together in the spirit of cooperation to solve difficult problems, improve academic achievement, provide support for teachers and administrators, and bring parents into the school-based decision making process. In addition, the School Council also provides opportunities for sharing ideas regarding school improvement and brings parents and the community together with school personnel to create a better understanding of and mutual respect for each other’s concerns.
