Pooler Elementary------ Transportation Procedures

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! We are ready to begin a fantastic year with your children. We do have some major changes that will affect our transportation process. We will begin the new changes the first day of school. Please view the information below and we wish you safe travels to and from school each and every day!

Students will have to memorize their tag number. Please practice with your child.

All students who will be car riders must be issued a car tag and follow the carpool route (See Map). Each family will be given two car tags for the year. Please display your car tag using your passenger visor.

Car Ramp (front of school): To enter the carpool line, you must enter by using Holly Drive. This is for arrival and dismissal. Cars will not be allowed to park in the front of the school due to new transportation changes. We do have a carpool team that will help guide you. This will help us maintain a safe environment for all students. When you are in the carpool line, please refrain from going around other cars. Car Duty Personnel will guide you.

Bus Ramp side parking lot area: Buses will use the side parking lot. Cars will not be permitted in this area until all buses have been cleared. The grassy areas cannot be used for parking. Our buses will not be able to make their turn if cars are parked on the grass. Thanks for keeping our students safe.

Car Route to enter the carpool line

Turn from Hwy 80 to Durden St. (Landmark: Rehoboth Ministries)

At stop sign turn right on Symons St. then a quick left back on Durden St.

First right onto Holly St. to Pooler Elementary.

Thank you,

Mrs. McPipkin, Principal & Mr. Barnes, Asst. Principal
