OWLs

The mission of the Oatland Wildlife Leader (OWL) teen program is to provide students with an opportunity to increase and share their knowledge of animals and the environment while gaining valuable volunteer experience in a wildlife center setting. Throughout the program, we aim to teach Oatland's mission, have students gain a deeper understanding about wildlife conservation, learn about our animal collection, and participate in informal educational presentations. This program requires a year-long commitment. For more information and to submit an application please click here.

Junior Camp Counselor (14+)

Dependable volunteers help make our camps succeed in quality and efficiency. Summer Camp runs weekly in June and July, Monday through Friday, 9:00AM-3:00PM. Each weekly session needs volunteers as Junior Camp Counselors to help supervise campers and assist with camp activities. You must be at least 14 years of age for this opportunity and commit to working the full week of your assigned camp. Volunteer for as many weeks as you would like and receive community service credit for your time!
