Are you are looking to fulfill your community service hours for your school, or just looking to volunteer some of your time? If so, then Oatland has plenty of seasonal festivals throughout the year, from our Halloween Hike in the Fall to our Fairy and Gnome Festival in the Spring.

OWLs

The mission of the Oatland Wildlife Leaders (O.W.L) teen program is to provide students with an opportunity to increase and share their knowledge of animals and the environment while gaining valuable volunteer experience in a wildlife center setting. Throughout the program, we aim to teach Oatland's mission, have students gain a deeper understanding about wildlife and conservation, learn about our animal collection, sharpen their public speaking and workplace skills as well as assist with outreach programs and events.

This program requires a year-long commitment and limited space is available.

Dependable volunteers help make our camps succeed in quality and efficiency. Summer Camp runs weekly in June and July, Monday through Friday, 9:00AM-3:00PM. Each weekly session needs volunteers as Junior Camp Counselors to help supervise campers and assist with camp activities. You must be at least 14 years of age for this opportunity and commit to working the full week of your assigned camp. Volunteer for as many weeks as you would like and receive community service credit for your time! Volunteer positions for the 2023 Summer Camp Session have been filled. Thank you!
