Annual Halloween Hike

​​​​​​​​​​​​​Take a walk with your Trick or Treaters​ down the forest trail to meet and gather goodies from friendly animal characters in this years fully outdoor event. Mother Earth will be there to lead you to the path to the various character and candy stops along the hike.

​Ticketing and Entry

As with previous years, advanced ticket reservations are required and will be available for two sessions per evening to spread out visitation, reduce gatherings and allow proper parking. 

There will be no day of, or onsite sales. 

Tickets are non-refundable and will only be valid during the specified time frame and date purchased.

**In the event of a full weather cancellation, a Rain Date will be offered​.**

If you are traveling in multiple vehicles, under one registration, please have your party caravan together prior to entering the car line. There is nowhere to pull over and wait and this will help with keeping the line coming into the Oatland Island for the Halloween Hike moving.

Additional Notes:

Oatland​ Island will close normal operations early on the days of the Halloween Hike  October 13th and October 14th  at 2:00pm to prepare for the evenings festivities.

Comfortable walking shoes, costumes and treat bags are encouraged and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Restrooms will be available in the Main Building and Barnyard. 

If you arrive prior to 5:00pm, please queue up to the right of the main gate as to not block traffic and do not follow staff members or volunteers arriving to assist at the Halloween hike through the gate.

Please do not block driveways of the residents in the neighborhood.​
