Simple Machines & the Union Blockade: Fort Pulaski brings history and science together for students during this exciting hand’s on experience. Students will participate in activities that will help them understand how the Union blockade affected Fort Pulaski and Savannah and how the soldiers used muscle power and simple tools during the building and use of the Fort. 

Note: This program meets at Fort Pulaski and is only offered in the month of January.

Program Length: Approximately 2.5 hours ​
