Spring Pre-LGPE Band Concert (6:00pm – 7:00pm) – Thursday, March 7, 2024

On Thursday March 7, 2024, at 6:00pm we will host our Spring Pre-LGPE Band Concert for this school year. Come out and experience our scholars' musical performances in preparation for their Large Group Performance Evaluation.

Mercer MS Student Learning Expectations: SCCPSS e-Learning Half-Day - Friday, February 16, 2024

On February 16, 2024, Savannah Chatham County Public Schools will have an e-Learning half-day. Students will stay home and learn remotely. Our schedule for the half-day and information about the learning packet activities are listed below.

Mercer Middle School's Family Engagement Workshop (9:00am – 10:00am) – Wednesday, February 21, 2024

On Wednesday February 21, 2024 from 9:00am - 10:00am, we will host our second Family Engagement Workshop. During this time, you will gain access to valuable information to help you and your child be more successful at school.

Black History Month Activities (February 1 - 29, 2024) - "Legends, Icons, and History Makers: Looking At History Through Our Eyes"

We will kick-off our Black History Month activities on Thursday, February 1, 2024 and will conclude with our Black History Month Program entitled, “Legends, Icons, and History Makers: Looking At History Through Our Eyes" on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Blessings on the Southside 2023: 1000 Gifts and Groceries - Saturday, December 16, 2023 (10:00am - 1:00pm)

Mercer Middle School’s community partner, Kingdom Life Christian Fellowship has partnered with various businesses to provide groceries and gifts to 1000 families on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 10:00am – 1:00pm.

2023 Junior Police Academy Induction Ceremony

More than 70 students hailing from all eight SCCPSS middle schools were inducted into the SCCPSS Junior Police Academy on Thursday, December 7, 2023.

Winter Holiday Band Concert (6:00pm – 7:00pm) – Wednesday, December 13, 2023

On Wednesday December 13, 2023, at 6:00pm we will host our Winter Holiday Band Concert for this school year. Come out and experience our scholars' musical renditions of popular winter holiday classics such as “Jingle Bells," “Up On The Housetop" and MORE.
