Published on: 9/12/2020

Good day Mercer Raider Family and Friends, During the week of September 14 - 18, 2020, our 6th – 8th Grade scholars will take a MAP® Growth™ test from NWEA® on a computer or tablet. This test is administered three times over the course of the school year to measure each student’s individual growth in the areas of math and reading. MAP Growth scores help teachers check student performance by measuring achievement and growth. Teachers use results to tailor classroom lessons and set goals for students. MAP Growth tests are unique, and it adapts to your child’s responses to measure your child’s skill level. These results will provide a more complete picture of what your child knows and is ready to learn – whether it is on, above, or below their grade level. Please know that your scholar will participate in the MAP® Growth™ test each morning within the hours of 8:45am – 11:00am.
