Savannah's Liberty Tree (4th, 8th Grades, High School)

​​​Walking Program, 2 Hours         

Meet at Massie and then travel together to Spring Hill Redoubt tolearn about a battlefield from the Revolutionary War. Next, students will travel to the Haitian monument on Franklin Square, honoring one of the largest units of black soldiers from the war. Then begins an exciting walking tour of the Historic District where monuments and landmarks tell the story of the American Revolution in Savannah.
