Join us! Community Conversations – D4 Town Hall (Oct. 18)

Published on: 10/6/2023

In her “100 Day Plan," the Superintendent outlined her desire to be the “lead learner" in the district and to adopt a learning orientation to fully understand the context of SCCPSS.  To help her accomplish this goal, Dr. Watts has announced several dates for Community Conversations hosted by school board members in their respective districts.

On October 18 at 6:00pm, District 4 Board Representative Shawn Kachmar will host a Town Hall where you’ll hear District updates and have the opportunity to share your input and feedback with Dr. Watts.  The meeting will be held at the auditorium of Islands High School, 170 Whitemarsh Island Rd., and will last approximately one and a half hours.

These listening sessions will help Dr. Watts learn about the values, expectations, and goals of the community as we further establish priorities for ensuring a quality education for every student.
