Hubert Middle School hosted its inaugural S.T.E.A.M. Day on Friday, September 24th. The event occurred throughout the day through the Connection classes. Each grade level was split into two sessions due to COVID restrictions. Students were able to engage in a Pep Rally in the gymnasium filled with STEAM activities, virtual greetings from Superintendent, Dr. M. Ann Levett as well as a virtual DJ who kept the crowd hyped about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. All Connection classes taught a hands-on STEAM-related activity.

The concept of the Rally was designed based on responses received from the school's Student STEAM Survey. According to Principal, Dotson, this event will be the first of many STEAM-filled school-wide activities. Hubert Middle School is S.T.E.A.M.ing with Possibilities.
