PBIS Procedures

-PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports. Students earn Bear Bucks (Pre-K through 5th grade) or PBIS Rewards points (6th through 8th grade) for positive behaviors witnessed by any adult in the school. The PBIS system is contingent on rewarding positive but not taking away Bear Bucks or points for negative behaviors. Negative behaviors receive alternative consequences.

-Students can trade-in their Bear Bucks or points every morning from 7:45-8:10 am at the two school store locations:

-Downstairs Intersection of K/1st/2nd

-Upstairs Intersection of Middle School/4th/5th

-Students in Kindergarten will visit the school store once a week

during their story time connection in the library.

*Pre-Kindergarten students will have the school store brought to them once a week.

-Students must report to their classroom when they arrive at school and then receive permission/pass to visit the school store.

-All students can preview the items and cost of the items in the school store using the PBIS App on Classlink.
