​​​​​​Uniforms are required at all SCCPSS Schools

Hesse Uniform Guidelines

Tops:  Hunter GREEN or WHITE "polo" style shirts, turtlenecks, button-down collar shirts (no emblems or logos on shirts except the official Hesse logo)  All shirts must be tucked.  Tops must no expose any of the midriff or lower back.  Fishnet tops, halter tops, tube tops, tank tops, spaghetti straps and other forms of transparent or revealing clothing are prohibited and should not be visible at any time.

Bottoms:  Khaki or navy or plaid** pants, shorts, jumpers, skorts, skirts, or capris.  Shorts, skorts, and jumpers must be no shorter than three inches above the knee.  Pants/slacks, skirts, skorts, shorts, and jumpers must have a finished hem.

**Girls may choose a plaid skirt (green and white plaid) or jumper as an OPTION to the uniform which can be purchased at A-1 Uniforms on Waters Avenue (ask for the Hesse plaid).

Shoes & Socks:  Shoes MUST be enclosed and tied or fastened (NO BACKLESS SHOES OR CROCS).  Solid white, navy, or black socks, tights​​​​ or leggings may be worn.

Outerwear:  Solid colored sweaters, vests, or sweatshirts may be worn over uniform shirts (no print/logos).  HOODED sweatshirts are not allowed.

Dress down days:  Students must still adhere to policies set forth by SCCPSS.  Pants must be of appropriate​ size, be worn at the natural waist, and not drag the floor.  Belts, if worn, must be buckled.  Shorts, skirts, jumpers, and dresses must have a finished hem and extend to the length of the tip of the longest extended finger when student is standing upright with hands by his/her side.  Tops must not expose any of the midriff or lower back.  Fishnet tops, halter tops, tube tops, tank tops, spaghetti straps and other forms of transparent or revealing clothing are prohibited and should not be visible at any time. 


Book Bags: All book bags, tote bags, backpacks, athletic bags and all other similar items must have the contents clearly visible (see-through clear plastic or mesh). Any bag needed for after school events, which is not mesh or clear plastic, must be checked in at the beginning of the day and left with the student’s teacher or with the student’s coach during the school day. Handbags, purses, pocketbooks, and similar items must be no larger than 8.5 X 11 inches (size of a regular sheet of paper), 3 to 4 inches thick and must not be large enough to contain a regular sized textbook.​
