The current track of Hurricane Idalia is expected to bring severe weather to our area with the greatest impact to Chatham County expected Wednesday through Thursday. As a precaution, SCCPSS will close in-person learning and will shift to virtual learning Wednesday, August 30th and Thursday, August 31st.
Students will not report to school on Wednesday August 30th or Thursday August 31st. As a reminder, Friday September 1st was an already scheduled E-learning Day in advance of the Labor Day holiday weekend. Remote learning will take place on these days as conditions allow.
Paper copies of Student Choice Boards are being sent home today along with some additional assignments from your student's teacher. Students with device access may also complete iReady, Amira (grades K-3), and complete activities posted in Google Classroom and/or Brightspace. Choice boards and/or assignments should be submitted within five days of return to school.
