We are proud to announce that Jaxon C  placed second in the SCCPSS Science Fair and Madison P placed third in the SCCPSS Science Fair.

Congratulations to the winners of the Fifth Grade Social Studies Fair. Jaxon C. placed first in the school wide competition with his project on the Taiwan - China Conflict.  Madison P explored why 18th Century Europeans chose to immigrate to America and placed second. Calder M. researched what job Christopher Columbus had before he became an explorer. He was awarded Honorable Mention. Jaxon and Madison's projects will now move forward to compete at the district wide Social Studies fair.

The Social Studies fair is for students who are eager to explore what social studies has to do with our daily lives. The Georgia Social Studies Fairs lead students, through competition, to learn, practice, and perfect research processes that can and should be used now and in the future to make informed decisions that impact both today and posterity.
