Book Fair Information

The importance of reading and access to books is crucial with reading as the foundation for learning, especially with the increase in screen time. Books provide an opportunity for students to see themselves reflected in characters and stories and helps builds confidence and empathy when they are transported to a world that is unlike their own.

We understand the need for normalcy in our students' lives and book fairs have been a long-standing tradition in our school community. Students look forward to the experience and the opportunity to choose their own books. Additionally, support for our library is now more important than ever that's why we are excited to announce that we are hosting a Follett Book Fair here at school and online!

Follett, our chosen book fair provider, has assured us they are taking the necessary safety precautions and, our school is taking additional measures to make this a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for everyone by:

  • Creating additional space
  • Encouraging shopping in limited groups
  • Extending shopping times
  • Offering virtual options
  • Accepting contactless payment option
  • Park at the cafeteria and enter through the cafeteria doors
  • Temperature screening when entering the cafeteria
