Georgia Technology Student Association
Georgia Technology Student Association (TSA) is dedicated to students enrolled, previously enrolled, or to students who have an interest in the engineering & technology education pathway and STEM Education programs. TSA chapters prepare students to be successful inventors, designers, creative problem-solvers, as well as responsible citizens and leaders who will influence and build the future through co-curricular activities such as communication, leadership, teamwork, and competitive skill development. Family, Careers, and Community Leaders of America
Family, Careers, and Community Leaders of America, also known as FCCLA, is a national student organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences curriculum in Georgia Schools. FCCLA encourages personal growth, prepares for careers, fosters family and community involvement, and helps students become leaders!
Students are encouraged to participate and compete in FCCLA programs throughout the year.
FCCLA members must be enrolled or previously enrolled in FACS (Family and Consumer Science) class to compete and/or participate in FCCLA conferences.

Future Farmers of America
Future Farmers of America, or FFA, is a dynamic and growing youth organization whose mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
Any student in grades 7-12 who is enrolled in an agriculture course is eligible to join FFA. More than 70% of national members are from rural non-farm, urban, and suburban areas. Members participate in a wide range of agricultural science education activities, leading to the possibility of more than 300 professional career opportunities.

Interested in creative writing? Thinking of being a published author one day? Please consider joining the Deep Writing Project! We'll meet every Thursday afternoon beginning in September until 4:30 in room 32. There are limited seats, so the roster will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you miss out this semester, we will start over in January.

DEEP Interest Form
If you are interested in community service, we'd love to have you join the Coastal Cares Club! This is open to all grade levels. We do a variety of projects each year, some here at the school, as well as some off-campus. Complete the linked form if you're ready to learn more! Our first meeting will be Wednesday, August 24th until 4:00. We'll meet every other Wednesday after that.
Would your Seahawk benefit from extra assistance with homework? Homework help will be available after school on Monday's and Thursday's from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Intramural ClubDo you like to play ball? All students and skill levels welcomed. This club will offer:
- Kickball (September)
- Indoor Soccer (February)
- Basketball (April)
The club will meet each Wednesday from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. All participants must have a sports physical on file.

This year, Mrs. Printup and Ms. Love will be sponsoring a Science Olympiad team. Please complete the google form below if you are interested in participating. Students who join will participate in one or two 90-minute practices each week in preparation for specific competition events. Regional scrimmages will happen in October and official competitions will begin in March, with the opportunity to progress to state and national events. This is a fun, hands-on way to engage with science and is a great opportunity to build your portfolio for high school choice programs. Check out the list of events below to see if any interest you!
Odyssey of The Mind
This year, Ms. Love and Ms. Clanton will be sponsoring an Odyssey of the Mind team. Odyssey of the Mind is a performance-based competition where students develop their creativity through writing and producing a short play based on an assigned prompt. The program also measures team improvisational skills through a lightning round contest, where they're assigned a spontaneous problem the day of competition. Students who join will participate in at least three 90-minute practices each week in preparation for the competition. Students will get hands on experience in theater production, performance, set/ costume design, and creative, fast paced, critical thinking. Middle School E-Sports
CMS is proud to announce that we are hosting an e-sports club this year! If your child loves video games, this is a perfect opportunity for them. E-sports programs engage students and prepare them for careers in STEM-related fields or other e-sports-related jobs. Students who participate in e-sports also develop soft skills, such as teamwork, good sportsmanship, strategic thinking, and leadership. Over 16 million e-sports scholarships are given out each year by more than 200 colleges and universities (nacesports.com).
Students that join the Seahawk E-sports club will compete in the Fall 2022 competitive season of Rocket League through the North America Scholastic E-sports Federation.
