The Georgia Ports Authority will resume the Y.E.S. (Youth learning Equipment & Safety) Training Program for 2021.  The Y.E.S. Program is an on-the-job learning opportunity that will train, influence, and prepare students into top performing employees for the GPA.  The on-the-job training and job-related education gives students “an earn while you learn” training experience that specifically meets the GPA’s workforce needs.

Due to the current pandemic and its challenges, we want to make sure students who are interested in the Y.E.S. Program have the opportunity to apply.  The application period will begin February 1, 2021 thru March 31, 2021.  Students may contact Tanya Chisholm, Manager of Learning and Development for the GPA at TChisholm@gmaports.com or their counselor/work-based learning coordinators if they have any questions.
