Savannah-Chatham County Public School System

 Records Management

Records Management is a department within the Data and Accountability Division. We are responsible for the storage, dispersal upon request, and destruction of school district records in accordance with Federal, State and Local laws. District records consist of student records and transcripts, financial, and administrative records. We provide access to these records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Georgia Open Records Act.

The procedures for obtaining copies of SCCPSS student records are provided. These records are for high school students who have not been enrolled with the district for more than two (2) years due to graduation or withdrawal or for other students who have been withdrawn from elementary or middle school for more than one year.

PLEASE NOTE: Students who have graduated or who have withdrawn from a SCCPSS high school within the past two years or within the year from elementary school or middle school, please contact the last school of record to obtain copies of your student records.

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System is committed to ensuring that all material on its websites are accessible to students, faculty, staff and the general public. If you experience difficulty with accessibility on any web pages or documents, please request the materials in an alternate format by calling (912) 395-5538 or emailing communications@sccpss.com
