 Criteria for Choice Programs

Choral Ensemble from Savannah Arts

All students applying to a Choice Program in the Savannah-Chatham County School District must meet criteria.  Students not meeting criteria will be considered ineligible and will not be placed in the lottery.

Program Participation and Expectations:

Choice Grade Point Average (GPA) will be used to determine eligibility.  Choice GPA is defined as the end of quarter grades for the past three full semesters of core academic and world language courses (ELA/Reading/Math/Science/SS/World Language). All Choice Programs require a minimum Choice GPA of 80% or higher.

Satisfactory Conduct (self reported within application)

Required Test Scores have been waived from the Choice eligibility criteria for school year 2021-2022 due to COVID-19.

***A review of previous minimum test scores can help guide Choice Program decisions.  See Choice program at choice.sccpss.com website to review the previous testing criteria for each choice program. However, test scores have been waived from the Choice eligibility criteria for school year 2021-2022.
