The Choice Program application window for school year 2022-2023 will open January 22, 2022 and close February 4, 2022.  Parents will receive lottery results March 9, 2022 after 4:00pm through the email address provided in the initial application. ​

Families interested in a Choice Program that wish to apply after the lottery process is complete, can access an “After Lottery Application" beginning March 15.  Late applications will place students on the schools' waitlist in the order received upon eligibility criteria verification.  

If space in the school or program becomes available, parents will receive notification.  Otherwise, the student is expected to enroll at their neighborhood school in the attendance zone they reside.  

Completing the online application is the only step necessary for current SCCPSS students.

All applicants who are not currently enrolled in a SCCPSS school should apply online AND must upload digital copies of the documents listed below.  These documents will be reviewed to determine it students meet the minimum criteria for the 2021-2022 Choice Program lottery.

The required documentation must be uploaded with the online application and includes: 

  • Report Cards (previous three full semesters, equivalent to a full year and a half)
  • Proof of Address (Utility Bill (electric, gas, water), Government Agency Mail, or Lease Agreement/Mortgage Statement)
*Note:  Required Test Scores have been waived from the eligibility criteria for school year 2021-2022 due to Covid19​.
