On Saturday, February 5th, Mayor Van Johnson welcomed Hubert Middle School's Photography Club along with their Media Arts teacher, Ms. Shirmira Hill and Mrs. Gloria Brack Lloyd, the Parent, Community/Choice Coordinator, to the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Enmarket Arena.
Hubert Middle School along with its feeder schools Andrea B. Williams Elementary and The School of Liberal Studies at Savannah High are working on a photo documentary and decided to use the Enmarket Arena as their subject. The collaboration will also include the three schools working with Loop it Up Savannah and Gadsden Elementary on murals that will be displayed in the new Enmarket Arena.
