JROTC Military Ball

Published on: 12/9/2022

High school JROTC cadets from around the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System assembled November 5, 2022, for a night of military traditions, food, fun and dancing. More than 300 cadets, parents, and faculty from Beach, Groves, New Hampstead, Windsor Forest, and Savannah High Schools enjoyed themselves as guest speaker, the Honorable Derek Mallow, Georgia House Representative for District 163, gave an enthusiastic and inspiring address to the assembled group. The district was well-represented by our own Dr. Angie Lewis, Executive Director, Office of College & Career Readiness, Amy Perry, Interim Director, CTAE Programs, and a host of district administrators. This was an especially meaningful event since COVID prevented it from happening for the past two years. We look forward to the next District JROTC Military Ball and more district-level JROTC events in the months and years to come. SCCPSS JROTC—Preparing students for productive futures!
