In partnership with Elevate Savannah and Jobs for Georgia Graduates, Paulette Moore, the Work-Based Learning Coordinator at A. E. Beach High School held a mock interview session with over forty high school seniors. Attired in business wear and equipped with resumes in hand, students came prepared to actively participate in the interview process. Several business partners, as well as SCCPSS district personnel, were present and actively participated in this worthwhile endeavor. Students were assigned various positions for which they had to interview, a list of sample interview questions, and job descriptions and duties and responsibilities of each position. All students were provided with written feedback regarding how the students might improve their interviewing skills. This was an excellent opportunity for the students at A. E. Beach High School to be able to participate in such an important career-building process.
