Welcome to the 12th Annual SCCPSS Student Success Expo - Redesigned!

Published on: 1/29/2021

The annual SCCPSS Student Success Expo is different this year.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event is being held virtually the week of February 1, 2021.

Instead of booths decorated by each school for families to peruse at the Savannah Mall, there was a Video Marketing Competition being held among the schools.  Each educational center in the district submitted a video showcasing their school and activities. An invitation was sent to business and industry partners inviting them to be judges and 63 volunteered to take part in the EXPO event.  The panel of judges used scoring rubrics to score the school marketing videos and aware prizes to the top three schools for their winning videos in each grade level.

Please view this welcome video from SCCPSS Superintendent Dr. Ann Levett announcing the winners of the competition and explaining how our schools and families can win even more prizes!

The video from each school will be available beginning at 8am on Monday, February 1st through the links below so that our families can see what each of our educational centers has to offer.  This Viewing Extravaganza will be available February 1st-7th, 2021, and the top three schools with the most views will win prizes.

As the Superintendent explained, SCCPSS students can also win prizes by completing the Passport Activity for the Expo.  They simply need to “virtually travel" through ten different schools by viewing their videos at the links below and completing the passport survey for each.  Students should choose the passport survey at the link that matches their grade level below.  Students who complete the activity will be entered into a drawing for prizes.  Video views can take place any time during the week of February 1-7, 2021 – all passport survey entries must be received by 8pm on February 7th to qualify for the drawing.
