Georgia Power Sports Award Selection Committee has chosen Savannah High Basketball Coach Tim Jordan at the 2021 recipient of the John F. Hodges Oasis Award.  The award is given out annually to one person who has rendered Outstanding Achievement in Sports in Savannah during their career.  Coach Jordan reached the 500 Career Win mark in 2018 and is being honored for his commitment to student-athletes in our community.

The Savannah Sports Council will host its 2021 Georgia Power Sports Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, May 11 at the Charles H. Morris Center at Trustees' Garden. In addition to presenting Coach Jordan with the John F. Hodges Oasis Award for Lifetime Achievement, the luncheon will honor local athletes and partners who have excelled at their given sport and announce the names of the organization's 2021 Scholarship Recipients.
