The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System
participants of the Fulbright-Hays Ghana Group Project Abroad with Savannah
State University invited Board and community members to attend and information
session and display called the Ghana through the Eyes of the Fulbright-Hays
Scholars: A Cultural Exhibition on
Wednesday, February 6, 2019 following the meeting of the Board of Education.
Participants shared their photographs from the journey and
described their experiences with emphasis on how they will integrate them into
curriculum and classroom practice. A series of Africana was also on display that
was purchased for use in the classroom.
