Savannah-Chatham
County Public School Officials are closely monitoring the track of Hurricane
Dorian through updates from Chatham Emergency Management. The track of the
storm and any possible effects on our area are at this time uncertain.
SCCPSS
officials will continue to monitor conditions as Hurricane Dorian approaches
the East Coast. If conditions dictate a need for school closures, or any other
change to schedules, parents will be notified through our call notification
system and a posting on the SCCPSS.com along with the District’s Social Media
pages on Facebook and Twitter.
While
we wait to see whether or not Hurricane Dorian will affect Chatham County we
want to remind our staff and families to have a plan in place to keep your
loved ones safe if the storm should turn in our direction.
