SCCPSS Administration Announces Planned October 8 Make-up Day

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) has designated Monday, October 8, 2018, as the make-up day for lost instructional time as a result of the impacts that were anticipated with Hurricane Florence on Friday, September 14th.  This date is currently showing as a student and staff holiday on the approved 2018-19 academic calendar and is marked as a designated make-up day if needed. 

 

SCCPSS Administration has designated October 8th as a recommended make-up day. Students should plan report to school at their designated bell time.  The official academic calendar modification will be presented during the October 3, 2018, meeting of the Board of Education and is subject to final Board approval.
