A
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on October 1st celebrated the completion of
the new CTAE Labs addition at the School of Liberal Studies at Savannah High.
The ESPLOST funded project,
which included an addition and remodeling, features instructional spaces designed
for the Career Academies programs at the school. The addition houses a welding lab, an engineering
lab, a robotics area, and computer labs.
Space inside the main school building has been remodeled for a
cosmetology lab and associated classrooms as well as a banquet room and professional
kitchen for the culinary arts program.
The
cosmetology lab contains work stations for styling, shampoo, drying, manicure,
pedicure and facial applications. The
lab is located conveniently for public access appointments.
