We hope you enjoyed the Thanksgiving break with family, friends, and loved ones. We look forward to the return to teaching and learning tomorrow and remain committed to taking precautions that support the safety of staff and students.
Please remember to self-monitor your health conditions and do not come to school if you are feeling sick. This includes temperature checks, as well as being mindful of any symptoms that are new or unusual.
Parents with students who attend the In-Person Hybrid Learning Model are required by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Georgia Department of Health guidelines to keep your child home if he/she has tested positive for COVID-19, has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, or is showing symptoms of COVID-19. These symptoms include:
- Fever or Chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
Please alert your school if any of the following apply to your child:
- A student has tested positive for COVID-19 during the Thanksgiving Break
- A student has been identified as a close contact to someone who tested positive for COVID-19
- A student is sick on either November 28th or 29th with COVID like symptoms
If any of the above criteria are met, the student is to remain in virtual school until they have been contacted and approved to return to in person instruction.
As we return to teaching and learning, please be reminded that social distancing protocols, sanitary hygiene practices and mask requirements remain in place for all students and staff. Thank you for your assistance in helping us keep our school families safe by following these health guidelines.
