Our featured Student of the Month for the month of November is Karl Anderson-Tremblay, a seventh grader at the STEM Academy at Bartlett.
Karl is described as “a well-rounded student…he works hard in every content area. He is a creative writer, a performing actor, a scientist, and an embodiment of our STEAM values.He has transitioned well to SCCPSS and the team at Bartlett wants to show that we see all that he is doing and appreciate his dedication to his academics."
Karl shows drive and an inherent desire to learn in every subject. He understands when there are gaps in his knowledge and works hard to fully comprehend the content. He is a dedicated learner who works hard to succeed equally in the sciences and the humanities. He is an performed in the Theater One Act Competition and maintains an average of 97! He recently earned the distinction of High Honor Roll.
Karl says, “I strive for academic success because I want to stay ahead intellectually and it's who I am."
Karl is taking home several gifts from our community partners - the Savannah Schools Federal Credit Union and Members First Credit Union. Additionally, he will receive a one-topping small pizza certificate donated by Donato's Pizza. In addition, Karl and his class will receive printed copies of his favorite book sponsored by E. Shaver Booksellers. And finally, Karl will take home a portrait by UpScale Photography provided by Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools.
