The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System recognized Kala Godbee at this month’s board meeting as the Superintendent’s Student of the month of September 2019. Our featured student attends White Bluff Elementary School and is in fifth grade.
Kala is described as “a role model for other students at her school.” She demonstrates academic success in her subject areas, while modeling great behavior. She is able to put together pieces of information together in order to provide clear and concise answers. Outside of school, Kala plays soccer and tennis. She also participates in Girls on the Run! She has previously been named the Character Trait Student of the Week.
Her personal quote that motivates her to strive for academic success is, "Do your best and reach for the stars!"
