Fifteen SCCPSS Student-Athletes and Four SCCPSS Coaches Set to Participate in Annual Blitz Border Bowl Versus South Carolina
Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools will be well-represented this Saturday when the 2nd Annual Blitz Border Bowl pitting student-athletes from the Coastal Empire against student-athletes from the Low Country kicks off at Memorial Stadium. The all-star high school senior football game was created through a partnership between WSAV-TV and the Savannah Morning News. Proceeds from the game benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
The fifteen SCCPSS student-athletes participating will be among a total 45 players making up Team Georgia. The game kicks off at 12:30pm Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Memorial Stadium located at 101 John J. Scott Drive in Savannah. Tickets are $10 each. It will also be broadcast live on WSAV-TV.
