Facilities Planning - Parent Meeting Dates Planned

Published on: 11/6/2023

Starting in school year 2024-2025 as part of Phase I of the SCCPSS Long Range Facility Plan, the District will make facility adjustments and modifications to attendance zones.  These adjustments will alleviate overcrowding, improve transportation services, and place students at school facilities with improved capacity and educational service offerings.

Any school where some students may be zoned to a new attendance boundary will provide a parent informational meeting.  The full schedule of meetings is provided for our families.  Parents will also receive notifications from their school about these informational meetings.

All meetings are informational regarding the proposed recommendations for Phase I of the SCCPSS Long Range Facility Plan slated to begin in August of 2024.  For additional information on the schedule of parent meetings for your school, please refer questions to your school principal.

The plan is subject to final approval by the Board of Public Education.
