Board of Public Education Seeks Feedback For Superintendent Search

Published on: 3/10/2023

With the June 30th retirement of longstanding Superintendent Dr. Ann Levett, the Board of Public Education is conducting a superintendent search for the purpose of filling the district's top position.  As the Board continues their work to identify the next Superintendent, community engagement will serve as vital component in the process.

A series of in-person public meetings are planned to gather feedback on the top qualities desired in a Superintendent.  The first meeting is scheduled on March 15, 2023, and will take place at 6:00pm in the auditorium of Jenkins High School located at 1800 East DeRenne Avenue in Savannah.  Additional dates and locations for future meetings will be announced.

McMillan and Associates, a locally based consultant firm, will host the meetings.  The community meetings are open to the public and all interested citizens are encouraged to attend.

**All attendees subject to security screening prior to entry.
